Steps
- Go to Reports & Analytics.
- Choose the report you want.
- Set the dates.
- Generate it.
Bigger reports take a moment. They appear under your downloaded reports when they are ready, so you do not have to sit and wait on the page.
Which report to use
Sales for what you sold and when. Payment for what actually came in, which is not the same thing if customers pay later. Closing Stock for what you are holding.
If you are giving figures to an accountant, ask them which they want before you export. It saves doing it twice.
If something goes wrong
If a report comes back empty, check the dates and the branch. Reports cover the branch you are looking at, not all of them at once.
If the numbers look wrong, check whether you are reading a sales report when you meant a payment one. Invoiced and paid are different figures and the gap between them is normal.
