Daycare works the same way as boarding, with one difference: a booking can cover several separate days rather than one continuous stay.

Steps

  1. Go to Bookings, then Daycare.
  2. Press Add Booking.
  3. On Booking Details, choose the customer and their pets, then pick the days.
  4. Press Next Step and give each pet a room.
  5. Press Next Step and add any extras, or press Skip Addons.
  6. On Additional Details, add anything the team needs to know.
  7. Press Save.

Booking several days at once

If a customer brings their dog every Tuesday and Thursday, put all those days on one booking. Do not make a separate booking for each.

Each day is then checked in and out on its own. A day the pet does not turn up can be marked as a no show without affecting the rest.

Starting and finishing services

Press Start and Finish on a service whenever the work actually happens. Daycare is checked in slot by slot, so there is no check in on the booking to do first.

If something goes wrong

If a day is missing from the list of choices, the rooms are already full for that day.

If you only see Boarding and not Daycare, your branch is not set up for daycare. Email us and we will turn it on.
