A subscription is something a customer buys up front and draws down over time, like ten walks or a grooming package. You set the plan up once and then issue it to whoever buys it.

Steps

  1. Go to Subscriptions.
  2. Press Add Subscription.
  3. Name it the way you would say it to a customer.
  4. Set what it includes and how long it lasts.
  5. Set the price.
  6. Save.

Think about the end date

A plan that never expires sounds generous and turns into a problem. People come back after two years expecting to use sessions you had long since stopped counting on. Pick a length you are happy to honour.

If something goes wrong

Changing a plan does not change the ones already issued. Customers keep what they bought, which is what you want. If you need existing customers moved onto new terms, that is a conversation with them rather than a settings change.
