If you live out of your own calendar, you can have HappyPet bookings appear in it alongside everything else.

Where to set it up

Go to Settings, then Calendar Sync.

Google and Outlook

  1. Choose Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar.
  2. Sign in and allow HappyPet to add events.
  3. Choose which branches to include under Branches to sync, or leave it on All branches.

Once it says Connected, bookings start appearing. Disconnect stops it and takes the connection away.

Apple Calendar and anything else

Apple works differently. Instead of signing in, you copy a link and give it to your calendar.

  1. Press Copy feed link.
  2. In Apple Calendar, add a calendar by web address and paste the link.

The same link works in most calendar apps that accept a web address.

Regenerate feed link makes a new one and stops the old one working. Use it if you have shared the link with somebody who should not have it any more. Anyone holding the old link loses access straight away, including you, so paste the new one into your own calendar again afterwards.

Deactivate calendar feed switches the link off altogether.

What appears

Bookings for the services you run, which can include Boarding, Daycare, Grooming and Other services.

Worth knowing

This sends one way. Bookings go from HappyPet into your calendar, and nothing you type in your calendar comes back the other way. Moving an event in Google will not move the booking.

Changes take a few minutes to show. A booking made this second will not be in your calendar this second.

Your calendar is yours. Connecting it does not put your bookings in anybody else's calendar, and each person on your team sets up their own.
