Before you start

Your services need to exist first, with a price and a length. The length is what decides how much time the appointment takes on the calendar. See how to add your services and prices.

Steps

  1. Go to Bookings, then In House Grooming or Mobile Grooming.
  2. Press Add Booking. You can also click an empty slot on the calendar to start at that time.
  3. On Booking Details, choose the customer and their pets, and set the date and time.
  4. Press Next Step to reach Service Details. Choose what each pet is having done.
  5. If you offer extras, add them on Additional Services.
  6. On Additional Details, add anything the groomer needs to know, such as a dog that does not like the dryer.
  7. Press Save.

Choosing who does the appointment

Depending on how your business is set up, you either assign a groomer when you book, or you start the appointment and whoever picks it up does it. Both are normal. See why a grooming appointment will not complete if the buttons are not what you expect.

If something goes wrong

If the time you want is not free, someone else already has it. The calendar shows what is taken.

If the calendar is missing on your phone, that is normal. Bookings open as a list on a phone because a calendar needs more width than a phone has. Open HappyPet on a computer or tablet to use the calendar.
