Most groomers charge more for a big dog than a small one, and more for a thick coat than a short one. Rather than making a separate service for every combination, you set the sizes and coats once and price against them.
Settings opens on a computer, not on a phone.
Steps
- Go to Settings, then Pet Settings.
- Choose Grooming or Boarding, depending on which you are pricing.
- Set up your size bands and coat types.
- Save.
Your services can then carry a different price for each.
Keep the bands few
Three or four size bands is usually plenty. Every extra band is another price to keep up to date on every service, and customers cannot tell the difference anyway.
If something goes wrong
If a booking is picking an unexpected price, check which band the pet falls into. The pet's own details decide the band, so a weight entered wrongly will pick the wrong price every time.
