Not everyone needs to see everything. A groomer needs today's appointments. They probably do not need your sales figures or the ability to delete a customer.
Settings opens on a computer, not on a phone.
Steps
- Go to Settings, then Roles & Permissions.
- Choose a role, or create one.
- Tick what that role can see and do.
- Save.
Everyone with that role gets the change straight away.
Roles rather than people
Set permissions on the role, not on each person. When you hire someone new you give them the role and you are done, rather than remembering which boxes you ticked for the last groomer.
What happens if someone opens something they cannot see
They get a not found page rather than an error. This is deliberate, so nobody can work out what exists by poking at addresses.
If something goes wrong
If someone says a menu item is missing, check their role first. Nine times out of ten it is a permission rather than a fault.
If a whole section is missing for everyone, that is different. It usually means your branch does not have that service switched on.
