During a boarding stay your team records when a pet was fed and when it was walked. Those times come from lists you set up once.

Where they live

Go to Settings, then Pet Settings. Along the side are Meals, Walk, Traits, Coat Variants, Size Tiers, Vaccinations and Tick Prevention Methods.

Meals

Add Meal Schedule sets a feeding time, with a Start Time and an End Time and which services it is Applicable For.

Add Meal Menu Item is what the food actually is. Add Diet Types covers the kinds of diet you cater for, such as grain free or prescription.

Set the times to match how your day genuinely runs. Times nobody keeps to make the record worthless, and the record is what you show a worried owner.

Walks

Add a walk with a Walk Name, a Start Time and an End Time, and choose what it is Applicable For.

Name them the way your team talks about them, such as Morning Walk, rather than by number.

Traits

Traits describe what an animal is like. Good with other dogs, nervous of men, pulls on the lead.

They are worth keeping short and factual. A trait is read quickly by somebody who has not met the animal, so it has to be something they can act on.

Archive takes a trait out of use without deleting the history on pets that already have it. Unarchive brings it back.

Why this is worth doing properly

Feeding and walking times are the two things owners ask about most while their pet is with you. When the record is accurate you can answer straight away, and when it is not you are guessing about somebody's dog.
