When you stop offering a service for a while, turn it off rather than deleting it. It disappears from the lists you pick from when taking a booking, and you can bring it back with one switch.

Before you start

Your role needs permission to edit services and prices. For boarding and daycare, it needs permission to edit rooms and spaces.

Turn a service off

  1. Go to Settings, then Price Catalogue. It opens as Catalogue & Pricing.
  2. Pick the booking type down the side, for example In-house Grooming.
  3. Choose the branch at the top. All Branches turns the service off everywhere. Pick one branch to turn it off there only. Boarding and daycare always need a branch.
  4. On the service's card, turn off the Enabled for listing switch.
  5. Press Disable in the box that asks you to confirm.

You will see:

Catalogue disabled successfully.

The card now reads Disabled from listing.

What turning it off does

The service stops appearing when you take a new booking at that branch. Bookings and invoices that already use it are not changed, so nothing you have already sold is affected.

You can still press Edit or Clone on a service that is turned off.

Find a service you turned off

Press Deactivated Services at the bottom of the list down the side. It shows every service that is turned off, for In-house Grooming, Mobile Grooming, Boarding and Daycare, with the same search, branch and Filters as the main list.

Bring a service back

  1. Find it under Deactivated Services.
  2. Turn on its switch.
  3. Press Enable to confirm.

It is bookable again straight away.

If the switch is missing

A service saved as a draft has no switch. Finish setting it up first.

For boarding and daycare, if you see:

Please choose a branch to update the catalogue status.

choose a branch at the top, then try again.
