Reminders is the list of things worth getting in touch about. Vaccinations coming due, birthdays, and bookings coming up. It saves you keeping a separate diary.
Steps
- Go to Reminders.
- Use the date filters to choose what you are working on, which are Today, Tomorrow, In one week and No date.
- Open a reminder to see who it is for.
- Press Send reminder and choose WhatsApp or Email.
What ends up in the list
- Vaccine, pets whose vaccinations are due within the window
- Birthday, pets with a birthday in the window
- Upcoming Booking, bookings that are about to happen
A vaccination reminder only appears if the date was recorded on the pet. If a pet you expected is missing, that date is probably blank.
Sending
Send reminder does it for you. If you would rather send it your own way, Copy message gives you the wording to paste.
If you have already spoken to somebody, Mark as sent takes it off your list without sending anything, so nobody chases them twice.
Reminder info shows what the reminder is about when the row alone is not enough.
Booking the next visit
Some reminders ask Plan Next Appointment?. Answering it there and then is the point of the whole list, because a customer who has just been reminded is the easiest one to book.
Keeping on top of it
Work it once a day rather than dipping in. Today and Tomorrow are the two that matter, and No date is worth a look each week for anything that never got a date in the first place.
Reminders you have dealt with move out of the way, so a short list means you are up to date rather than that something is broken.
